Conflict Mineral Policy

Acument Global Technologies is committed to ethical business practices and promotion of human rights. This includes responsible manufacturing of our products and responsible sourcing of materials.

We are aware of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and the related final rule issued by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission regarding certain reporting and disclosure requirements related to certain minerals designated “conflict minerals”, including without limitation, tin, tantalum, tungsten, and gold.

Acument Global Technologies requires that its suppliers comply with this regulation and the annual reporting process, which compliance requirement is set forth in detail in our Purchasing Terms and Conditions. Suppliers must not source conflict minerals from smelters located in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and surrounding countries (“Covered Countries”), except to the extent such smelters have been approved by the Conflict Free Smelter Program.

As this reporting process continues to evolve, Acument Global Technologies will continue to monitor and adjust our processes and supplier requirements to ensure the most responsible sourcing steps are being taken. We are committed to ensuring that we provide responsibly sourced products to all of our customers and that our trade activities do not indirectly fund armed militia acts leading to civil unrest in the Covered Countries.
